On Pentecost Sunday, Pastor Amanda spoke on the ordinary “in-between” moments of waiting, and how God’s Spirit is actively preparing and empowering imperfect people to be sent out in love, bringing transformation, and connection to the world.

Reflection Questions:
1. The sermon describes the disciples as living in an “in-between moment”—where do you see similar seasons of waiting in your own life?
2. Peter is highlighted as imperfect yet transformed. How does his story shape how you view your own mistakes or limitations?
3. When have you experienced God working in ways you didn’t expect or couldn’t explain at the time?
4. How can we become more open to being “pushed beyond our comfort zones” by the Spirit?
5. What does it mean to trust that “God is not absent” even when nothing seems to be happening?
Prayer:
Holy Spirit,
You meet us in the waiting, in the in-between places where we are unsure and unfinished.
Remind us that your grace does not depend on our strength or perfection, but is freely given, alive within us. Fill us, as you filled the disciples, with courage to trust your promises and to step beyond what is comfortable. Work through us, ordinary and imperfect as we are, to bring connection, love, and hope into the world. Keep shaping your church, sending us outward, and teaching us to follow where you lead. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
