Updates from our Re-Entry Team, November 2020: |
Our final drive-in worship service for the season was on Nov. 1, 2020. The weather and the temperatures for this time of year have prompted us to work together to plan for in-person worship services. Please note: We will continue to stream worship to Facebook Live. There are no plans in the near or distant future to stop live streaming. But please remember all other in-person plans are subject to change in order to adapt to the safest practices.
Even though we are no longer on strict lock-down from COVID, we also want to support individuals and families who should stay home even if we begin offering online services. Facebook Live worship will continue, as well as meeting virtually for Morning Prayer, Bible Study, and ministry teams, unless otherwise specified ahead of time.
On Nov. 8th, at 10 AM, we will worship on Facebook Live only in order to prepare for in-person services to follow.
Nov. 15th, at 10 AM, is our first scheduled in-person worship at the Fellowship Hall of St. Alban's Episcopal Church. We will be sending out electronic sign up information so you can reserve a seat and so we can adequately prepare for the number of people planning to attend. If you cannot use an electronic sign up, we ask that you call the church office (410-760-3084) by 11:00am on the Monday before the service. Please note that seating is limited to about 25 people.
When you arrive, we ask that you use the ramp to enter. A greeter will be present to safely hand you a bulletin and to answer any questions you may have about in-person worship. And masks must be worn at all time, covering your nose and mouth. If you do not bring a mask, one will be provided for you.
And please know that in order to follow the CDC's safety guidelines, worship will look different, especially in the first few weeks. Corporate singing and speaking will not be a part of the service. Communion will not be offered for at least a month. As we get more comfortable with this new setting, we may change and tweak worship, but please be prepared for something different than what you're used to.

Part of the story of Rejoice Fellowship.....
Rejoice Fellowship's Building Project underway!
Over the past three years, this new congregation has heard God calling them to begin a building project that will re-purpose the existing space at 7606 Quarterfield Rd as well as create an addition of a large multi-purpose room. Supported by the sale of two previously owned building, aided by the deep commitments of the people of Rejoice in the Living Stones Capital Campaign and energized by the faithful work of Rejoice Fellowship's Building Team, the preliminary work of drawings and planning is soon coming to a close. We are grateful for God's guidance through this project. We are enormously pleased with the partnership we have had with Corkill, Cush & Reeves, who are serving as our architects.
The preparation for the remodeling to be done in the
existing building on Quarterfield Rd has begun!
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this work!
