We continue to worship robustly from home via Facebook Live. As our situation continues, we will be our most adaptive selves, loving our neighbors, and doing our best to be as safe as possible. Our trust in the Lord who will illuminate a path forward, even if our patience is tested. The birth of our savior teaches us that God understands deeply our pain at this time, and we are confident that God is with us, even while we may be apart.
Our final drive-in worship service for the season was on Nov. 1, 2020. For the time being, until further notice, we will continue to worship at home on Facebook Live only.
We did have plans for re-entering the building and introducing a limited indoors in-person service that would also be streamed to Facebook Live, but due to the rising numbers of COVID cases in our area, we have decided to delay that decision. This also comes after a decision by the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland to suspend in-person worship. Abiding by our covenantal agreement with St. Alban's Episcopal Church, we graciously accept and understand this decision.
We may lament the present realities. Remember, nothing is forever, only the love of Jesus Christ.
Please note: We will continue to stream worship to Facebook Live. There are no plans in the near or distant future to stop live streaming. All other in-person plans are subject to change in order to adapt to the safest practices.
